We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the theatrical production of Encore Melaka, particularly in the drumming scene that depicts the arrival of Admiral Cheng Ho. Our role focused on enhancing the rhythmic energy and cultural atmosphere of this key moment through percussion performance and stage setting.
Set within Southeast Asia’s first 360-degree rotating theatre, Encore Melaka is a visually stunning production that celebrates Melaka’s rich multicultural heritage. Being part of this project allowed us to support a creative team dedicated to preserving and reimagining history through performance. It was an honour to use the language of rhythm to help bring such a meaningful story to life.
